May 23, 2013 - Today we added 8 new channels from another broadcaster in the valley. To make room, we removed 27.1 & 27.3. 27.2 KSKC SD was kept in the lineup for its local and tribal content as well as Democracy NOW. See Schedule or Stations at left for details. April 10, 2013 - Our signal from 89.5 in Polson for KUFM was lost during the early morning. It has be restored. April 9, 2013 - TNN, The Nashville Network was added at 21.3. March 7, 2013 - EBRU has been restored to 21.2 - other trial channels were not approved by the board. February 28, 2013 - We are switching 21.1 from PUNCH to The Cool TV for a trial period before the next meeting. It is music videos only in several formats and may be of interest to a younger audience. February 22, 2013
January 17, 2013 - A full scheduling module has been installed here and also on our CH 2.1 See the link at left. You can scroll forward and back in time and vertically through the channels. December 21, 2012 - The world did not, in fact, end today some have anticipated and, yes, KUFM radio is now the audio signal over the message screen on 2.1. Mostly good news we hope. December 7, 2012 - Our regular monthly meetings are moving to 1st Wednesdays of each month. However the next meeting will be Wed Jan 9 due to New Years conflict. October 1, 2012 - MT PBS
[originates in Bozeman as KUSM] is now on air - run a scan and it will
appear as 46.1 etc. It is a full service station, KUKL of Kalispell July 27, see the news page for temporary changes to keep the Olympics on air. June 9, KUFM went out this AM. It isn't Swan Hill. We receive from 89.5 Polson and it is out as well. Finally, 89.1 in Missoula is out also. 90.1 and 91.7 are on; not sure why. This should be resolved soon. Signal is back on air with some dropouts which also can be heard on 89.5. Mar 17, New power divider and cables installed for all the UHF signals. This is to improve signal quality of NBC 9.1, .2 & .3 + ABC 42.1 & .2 February 23, 27.1 & 2 back on air. February 22, seem to have lost the new signal from KSKC. On February 17, 2012, KSKC PBS HD was added on our physical channel 5: it appears as 27.1 and .2. KSPS was converted to digital standard definition on September 14, 2010. 480i SD - Please note that you will need to rescan with your TV or set-top box. The scan will find KSPS at 7.1 There will be three other channels found, 11.1, 21.1 and 21.2.EBRU has been added at 21.1 with children's and cultural content from aroung the world. In looking for a world news outlet, we were unable to get a signal from the BBC or CNN. We have tuned Al Jazeera English for the time being. For now, we don't have access to KUFM - Montana Public Television. KUFM has notified the district that the signal should be available by mid December 2011. August 2009 saw CBS broadcasting digital on our channel 12.1 1080i HD. It may be "branded" so your box or TV may see it by the home station number of 8.1. They are broadcasting the CW network on a substream, either 8.2 or 12.2 480i SD. Click the station links in the header above to find their schedule information. Also, ABC is broadcasting digital from our channel 14.1 [480i SD] though it, too, may be "branded" 23.1, the home station number of KTMF in Missoula. It is currently being picked up by us from their translator on CH 42 at Lone Pine and you may see the signal number that way. They are broadcasting Fox Network as a substream, either 14.2 or 23.2 [480i SD], again, depending on how your equipment sees the signal. Click the station links in the header above to find their schedule information. Currently we receive it from their tower on Lone Pine and it should appear as 42.1 & 42.2 On November 26, 2008, SHTV converted its NBC signal to digital only 1080i HD - It is available at channel 9.1. [You may see it as 24.3] To receive it, you will need to have your digital TV or set top converter scan for available channels. When it is done, key in channel 9. Then, push the Channel UP button. If it sees the signal, you will receive it on 9.1. A combination antenna would be best since we actually broadcast this on channel 24 which is UHF. [You see it on channel 9 as part of the magic of the digital signal, NBC has it "branded" as 9 so that is how you receive it, even though we broadcast it on 24.] New ME TV added @ 9.2 on May 27, 2011 & THIS TV on June 2, 2011; both in 480i SD. |

satellite sources including sports, news and movies. These will be announced
in the Eagle and Lakeshore Country Journal. You may need to rescan to
receive them. Watch for announcements at the top of this page. |
